Do You Set Goals?

Making a Life Plan?

Most people are merely activity oriented:
Parents focus on what they need to do: The boss or an employee tend to be activity or task oriented. Only a small percentage of people are goal oriented. If you were to ask people what their vision was, you would get a lot of strage looks. Virtually no one, only 5% has a vision or purpose!

Setting Goals: It is well documented that tose who spend time identifying specific goals and writing them down are the ones who are most likely to attain their goals. Therefore, the most powerful way to assist yourself with the goal-setting process is to write out hour life plan. Start with hour purpose, and then identify the goals you would like to accomplish over your lifetime and beyond. Then decide on the activities to accomplish those goals.

Goals you would like to accomplish in the next one to five years.
Goals for the next five to ten years
Goals for the next twenty to fifty years
Goals for the next fifty, one hundred, and even five hundred years!

Remember, whatever you do with your life affects the world and the people you leave behind for many years to come.
